Scenes from last year’s ACFW Conference…such. a. blast.
Hey guys!
This week I’m heading off to one of my favorite trips of the year: the ACFW Conference in St. Louis. It’s an event during which about seven hundred writers and publishing industry professionals take over a Hyatt Regency Hotel and basically have the grown-up version of summer camp.
Not nearly as many mosquitos. But just as much staying up late and laughing. Plus, I get to wear a pretty dress and heels I can’t walk in on Saturday night. Always a treat.
Because I’ll be gone all week and because I’ve got a rewrite deadline in early October, I’m going to take a two-week blogging hiatus. This is somewhat sad because I’ve so been enjoying writing Friday bravery posts, but they’ll return in October…along with some new fun. Two words: Gilmore. Girls.
(Yes, GG was a topic of discussion around here ALL summer, but as soon as the summer series ended, I got a bunch of messages telling me it should’ve continued longer. And with Netflix’s recent news, the time is perfect for more GG entertainment.)
