True story: A lot of times on Fridays I try to write an actual blog post. Something fun or meaningful or inspiring or at least…worthy of being called a blog post.
But today I’m just super excited about seeing Thor 2 tonight. And so post-wise, I’ve got nothing.
Nothing except this:
Yeah, that’ll never stop being funny to me.

Hahahahaha!
I can’t think of any and usually I have several. I did record an oldie and fave of mine last night. Love Affair with Cary Grant. I’m looking forward to watching that…again!

Do you mean an Affair to Remember? I don’t know one called Love Affair and I’m panicking a little right now at the thought that there might be a Cary Grant movie I DON’T EVEN KNOW ABOUT! 🙂
This is funny. 🙂 Dave and I used to go to a ton of movies–we also used to rent movies all the time. This year I went into our local video store and rented a movie for my girls to have a slumber party and it had been FOUR years since the last time I had rented a movie. Hmm…what happened about four years ago? Oh, twins! 🙂 So, no, I don’t have any movies on my radar. I miss going to the theater. I honestly think the last movie I saw on the big screen was the drive-in movie we went to in June! Have fun tonight!
Oh, you mean the drive in movie where all the girls from COLD climates went inside the van — and fell asleep — and the AZ girl stayed outside?!! 😛

Haha I don’t even know if I can count the drive-in movie as a movie I’ve watched since I’m pretty sure I fell asleep about 15 minutes in. 🙂
I’m sooo with you, Melissa! My husband and I have a double date night planned with my cousin and his girlfriend to see this next installment in the Thor series. We love, LoVe, LOVE, the Marvel movies and it always becomes a date night must!

Yay, hope you enjoy it. I was actually never into superhero or comic book movies at all…UNTIL my sister married a guy who is super into comics. They got me to start watching superhero movies and I got hooked. I never realized how much backstory there was.
Or what great hair so many of the superheroes have!
OH OH OH OH!!! ME TOO! I’m going to see it in 3D tonight. Hopefully. My husband is bow hunting this afternoon and if he gets a deer then it ruins EVERYTHING!!! Pray for no deer! 🙂 No food for family this winter, but 3D movie for Jaime. Yes. That sounds about right.

Haha, don’t kill Bambi! 🙂 No but seriously…I am both impressed and concerned that the 3D movie ranks higher than food for your children. I have an idea for you: buy out the theater’s candy for your kids. Movie AND food for the kids–win win.
I just saw Thor: The Dark World last night! It’s fantastic! Lots of excitement and tons of funny moments (a lot of them from the incomparable Tom Hiddleston)! 🙂 Stay all the way through the credits! There are two extra scenes.
Have fun!!! 😀
And as for upcoming movies… I can’t wait for the Desolation of Smaug! 🙂

I’ve heard that about the extra scenes. YAY! I will probably go see the next Hobbit movie, too…I liked the first one. Not as much as Lord of the Rings, but it’s almost not fair to compare because they really are very different stories. BUT the thing that has me excited for the next Hobbit movie is the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch is the voice of Smaug. 🙂
Hahahaha!!! So funny! I really want to see this movie, but my dad busted me out saying “You only want to see if because you think he looks good!” He is so right…

Hey, nothing wrong with that… 🙂
Haha! Perfect picture! Can’t wait for Catching Fire and the Hobbit!! Really excited to see Thor and Book Thief too 🙂

True confession: I still haven’t seen the first Hunger Games movie BUT I really want to see the second one for a totally dumb reason–Coldplay did a song for the soundtrack! So I’ll have to catch up at some point.
Ooo! I can’t wait to know what you think of THG, Melissa. 🙂
You are hilarious. Thank you for a smile today 🙂

Haha, anytime. Thor is always good for a smile. 🙂
Thor: Into the Dark World was AMAZING! My sis and I saw it this afternoon and I loved it! And yeah this pic always cracks me up!
That is quite enough for this post. Eager to see this movie, Melissa. It looks better than the first one. 🙂
