Good, ’cause I got an amazing night’s sleep.

Guilty, ’cause this is my very first blog of 2010 and it just isn’t going to be an exciting one, my friends.

But also, liberated. ‘Cause I’ve decided to give myself the rest of January off from blogging…or at least from doing anything crazy exciting with the blog. It’s what I’ve got to do. I had this swell idea for a 2010 blog challenge of sorts, you see. Had my finger posed over submit multiple times in those early days of January, ready to kick off a new year of blogging with a post all typed up. But I just couldn’t do it…

Because my goal, as it turns out, is to write a great novel…And while I’d like to do something cool with Tag(g)lines in 2010, what I had in mind was just too time-consuming, too labor-intensive and frankly, too much.

So, I’m taking the rest of January  to rethink my blogging goals for 2010. And in the meantime, I’ll be polishing my WIP, writing what I hope is a brilliant synopsis and getting ready for the Deep Thinkers retreat in February.

And now I’m feeling…

Resolute. This was a good decision. See you in February!!
